Cyclical events
Currently, the Dom Polski Station does not organize any events due to the pandemic. We sincerely hope that the renovated rooms will soon be filled with guests and the dance floor full of dancers. DJs will take over the controls again, the loudspeakers will roar, and the lights and strobes will flash again. We follow government reports closely and prepare for a grand re-opening.
Disco Night
Every Saturday
A musical MIX of the best hits. Party from 8pm to 2am. In the bar, ask for a drink of the evening. Free admission for ladies and gentlemen – please read the Regulations.
Salsa & Bachata lessons
Every Tuesday
Professional classes are conducted by native Latin Americans from Ecuador. Unique atmosphere, students of different nationalities and ages. We invite beginners and intermediate-to-advanced dancers. Free parking.

Renovating The House on our own 2020
Once again we are reminded that Friends do not disappoint. Working together over a 3 months’ time, we managed to renovate the Disco and White Rooms.
Women's Day 18+ 2nd edition

Start of the school year
Family barbecue, disco for children, games and activities, attractions for adults. We welcomed the school year with fun!
Wedding Piotrek and Magda
The entire facility belonged to the bride, thr groom and their guests on that day. We are touched that this unique event took place at SDP.

Four stand-upers performed – Minkiewicz, Gajda, Hyszko, Jabłoński. They provided us with over 2 hours of great entertainment and laughter.
The Queen knows what’s best
A charity concert by Fynnius Fogg, in which the son of one of the founders of SDP plays. The team received an MBE award from Queen Elizabeth II.
Ewelina's relocation
Ewelina Wachnicka – a resident of Bedford, celebrated her move to Paris. Crowds arrived. Thank you for putting trust in us!

Children's day for young and old
It was a party to the fullest! Balloon modeling, colorful kisses, sweet gifts and a delicious barbecue for the whole family.
Communions
Every year, Polish children in Bedford receive their First Holy Communion. They celebrated this important celebration with their families in SDP.

Local musicians played and sang heart-warming songs. A concert in an unusual, elegant and magical setting.
Renovation by own efforts 2019
We used the loan to renovate the Bar and the Olive Hall. It was then that a group of Friends began to form and they are helping us to this day.
We support Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity
Every year, the Dom Polski Station takes part in the Grand Finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity – the biggest charity event for Polish nationals around the globe. We did our bit by opening our facilities to the volunteers and organisers, inviting and accomodating guests, supplying cans and e-money boxes.
New Year's Eve "Czar PRL-u"
We spent days getting the decor and menu ready so that our guests could travel back in time and experience the atmosphere of the communist era. “We were standing on the precipice, but we took a step forward!”
Decorating the Christmas tree
For the first time, the new Board organized the integration of the Polish community at the Christmas tree. We listened to Christmas carols and broke the wafer, passing on our wishes to each other. It was touching!
New Management September 2018
As new Managers, we started from investments. For the money borrowed (£10k), we bought a sound and lighting system, CCTV, refrigerators, and bar equipment.
History Polish House
In 1962, the post-war Polish community in Bedford contributed to the purchase of a building called the “Polish House”. The ribbon-cutting was done by Gen. Władysław Anders himself.
